how it's made

 

 

The Greenland Wavedesign paddle is FULL CARBON AUTOCLAVE PREPREG, cured under heat (160°C) and pressure (6 bar). This process produce professional quality parts with a high quality surface finish, low resin content and excellent structural performance.

Design, Control & Automation, Manufactory cooperate to realize the paddle project.

The paddle tip is reinforced by a 'high quality carbon fibe plate', totaly designed by WAVEDESIGN team, which protects it from bumps, not compromising any hydrodynamics.

2 piece unit assembled paddle. All blades are the same size, while the length of the oval shaped loom will fit best the paddler.
Our modular system is based on the most popular sizes.
  



In the one unit solution the 2 parts are glued together and the paddle is not divisible.
The split mechanism adopted in the  take-apart solution  is a HIGH QUALITY STAINLESS STEEL Pin Button Solution. The mechanism is simple. Two parts are joined to each other through another tube inside and this tubular connection is fixed against moving along or around the longitudinal axis of the paddle. The pin has a spring mechanism to make it function as a button.
